Manzil Mystics, a Delhi-based Music Ensemble that sings ideas of Kabir Das Ji in a unique folk fusion form, will be doing a fundraising concert for Chirag School on 21st May, at 4pm.

You can find deeper satisfaction in the knowledge that this enjoyment is actually benefiting a beautiful school that runs on the goodwill of its donors.  

The Chirag School is a rare gem of a school because of its gentle, fear free culture, its experiential learning methods, and excellent outcomes. Its joyous students don’t want to miss a day of school. The Himalayan Writing Retreat (THWR) supports the school through its First Draft Club. This Fundraising event is another way for THWR to support the school. The live concert will be played from 4 PM to 5.30 PM on the 21st of May, and will be followed by tea and interaction.  

Even if you don’t live nearby – you’re welcome to stay at the Quiet Place for any number of days before or after the concert, 50% of all proceeds (room rent + meals) will go to the Chirag School. To see our room rates, please visit: this link .

Ticket price: Pay what you want. 100% goes to Chirag School (their representative will be present at the concert and you can also pay on site)
Stay: At published rates. 50% of the proceeds will go to the Chirag School. (If you prefer to donate the 50% directly to Chirag, that is fine too)

Manzil Mystics

Manzil Mystics are a Delhi-based choir-band known for their vibrant original songs which reflect the all-inclusive ideology of the ancient mystic Kabir in Indie folk-fusion form.

This passionate group of musicians working towards creating social inclusion and happy childhoods through music, since 2009. Inspired by the rich arts and cultural traditions of India, they use Satsang, Samvaad, Sangeet and Swadhyaya as the core of all their programmes. They work towards increasing the accessibility, usability and sustainability of music for everyone.

Chirag

Located in rural Nainital, Chirag School lights up the mountains with the love of learning and the laughter of children. Established in 2006 by Kanai Lal ji, founder of the NGO CHIRAG, it brings quality education to 135 children from underprivileged homes in the local Himalayan community. It is shaped by the ethos of the Krishnamurti schools, and provides a safe space, free from fear, competition, and authority, for children to inquire and think for themselves.
