The Quiet Place Himalayas is a boutique retreat, situated in a little Himalayan Orchard on a ridge with breathtaking panoramic views. It is a place to take a step back, to leave the extremities and sway gently in harmony with the rhythm of the mountains, the trees, the flowers, the birds and the bugs.
We welcome everyone seeking nature and serenity. Being “The Quiet Place” we prefer birdsong to man-made noise, and we request our guests to also keep noise levels down.
Oh, and we have fast (fibre-based) wifi too!

These rooms feature minimalist but tastefully done décor. Each room can sleep a maximum of three adults. One main house room has a 10 ft plate glass bay window that offers expansive views of the snow-clad peaks and forests and valleys in between.
Cob Suites
Each charming, eco-friendly cob suites has two rooms, a private bathroom, and can comfortably sleep three adults. Each suite also has a large plate glass bay window surrounded by lush green nature and the distant mountains that serenade the soul to sink deeper into silence and contemplation. They exude a rustic charm and are preferred by many guests for the sense of groundedness they offer.

Take a walk
Follow any of the numerous trails around for short hikes. Hikes through the forest to Mukteshwar and Peora are slightly longer ones.
Go Sightseeing
Besides the popular Mukteshwar town (10 km), you can also head to Almora, the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kasar Devi and Jageshwar.
Dine under the Stars
If you let us know in advance (and if the weather permits), we can set up a candlelight dinner on ‘the island’ for you.
